Extension of LIFE13 NAT/PL/024 Ochrona torfowisk alkalicznych południowej Polski

In March this year, we have requested the European Commission to extend the project for another 6 months. The reason for our request was delays in the implementation of the action to improve water conditions resulting, among others, from the change of law in the field of water management in Poland, the necessity of making new arrangements with the newly established State Treasury land management unit – PGW Wody Polskie and competence changes in the area of issuing permits and arrangements. At the end of June we received a positive decision and thus the implementation of the project will end on 31.12.2018. We hope that by that time we will be able to complete all the planned activities.
