LIFE Information Day 2016

On 26th of April, 2016 for the ninth time took place LIFE Information Day organized by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. The meeting was held in Warsaw. This year we prepared a new formula of the meetings, which allowed both a detailed look at the substantive issues during the thematic sessions, as well as to gain the general knowledge needed to apply for funds of LIFE program, which was available in the general session. Outside the plenary room the beneficiaries of LIFE program presented their projects, exchanged among themselves the experience of its implementation and answered questions from people interested in applying to LIFE. They also distributed publications and promotional materials and informed on the activities carried out in the projects. There were also stands representing Klub Przyrodników, who once again took part in the LIFE Information Day presenting three projects: “Protecting alkaline fens (7230) in the upper glacial landscape of northern Poland”, “Protection of alkaline fens (7230) of  southern Poland” and completed already project “Protection of xerothermic grasslands in Poland – theory and practice”. LIFE Information Day is a good opportunity to promote projects, share experiences and learn about new developments in the subject of nature conservation and the environment.
