Workshops opening the project

20 December 2012 workshops opening the project were held in Gdańsk. Representatives of Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Gdańsk, Forest Division where tasks are carried out as part of the project, and other entities implementing LIFE projects in Poland, among others, Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship Board of Land Melioration and Water Facilities, were present. The subject of the meeting was to present the participants with assumptions and objectives of the project as well as methods of implementing it. The attending representatives learnt about the schedule of project implementation and method of agreeing with them dates of carrying out conservation tasks in areas administrated by them. The purpose of the meeting was mainly informative, and it served as a good practice of informing all the interested parties on starting the implementation of the project.
